The area is ideal for visiting beautiful Orta (15.5 km), from where boats leave for the nearby island of San Giulio, the "island of stone", a small medieval jewel, Arona (35 km) and beautiful Stresa (12 km) on the shores of Lake Maggiore, from where excursions to the Borromean Islands are possible. Lake Maggiore is a popular destination for sports enthusiasts, who can go kitesurfing and wakesurfing here. A highway is 4 km away.
