Impressive is Monte Pellegrino, a nature reserve that closes the gulf to the north of the city. Some tips for exploring the area: the Sanctuary of Santa Rosalia, the Addaura Caves with Paleolithic drawings carved into rocks, and more. Palermo offers several large markets, colorful and lively, stretching along the streets and alleys of the old town, offering local products of all kinds and for all tastes. For beach lovers, there are many equipped beaches, also suitable for children; the most famous is certainly that of Mondello with crystal clear waters.
