Paros, Milos & Santorini - Three islands, one journey
Imagine a journey where you wake up to the sound of waves rolling onto the shore, where the days are filled with white villages, emerald bays, and sunsets that set the entire sky on fire. This is the ultimate Greek island hopping – a tasteful combination of three of the most beloved islands of the Cyclades: Paros, Milos, and Santorini. Three islands, three moods, and a perfect balance between relaxation, exploration, and romance.
Between May and September, the ferry traffic between the islands is both frequent and smooth, with several daily departures during the high season. You can easily continue to the next island at a leisurely pace – but keep in mind that ferry tickets are not included in the price of the trip and we highly recommend booking them in advance. During the summer months, the boats fill up quickly and securing your seats in advance makes the journey both safer and more relaxing.
Paros – where the soul of Greece flourishes
The journey begins on Paros, where you land by plane and soon find that special feeling of being exactly where you should be. From the airport, the road to rest is short – in just 20 minutes by taxi or private transfer, you reach your hotel, Mr & Mrs White Paros, nestled among olive groves just outside the picturesque village of Naoussa.
Here, three days of delightful simplicity await. Paros is like a living painting where blue and white tones play the main role. Stroll along the harbor promenade in Parikia, sit down at a café in the shade of a vine, and feel your pulse slow down.
The evenings belong to Naoussa, the island's small fishing village that attracts with romantic dinners by the water. Here, the fishing boats bob gently in the harbor while you enjoy grilled squid and a glass of chilled white wine in the sunset.
During the day, the island's beaches beckon, where the water shimmers turquoise and the sand is warm under your feet. Kolymbithres, with its softly shaped granite cliffs, quickly becomes a favorite, but don't miss Golden Beach – perfect for both rest and windsurfing.
When it's time to leave Paros and take the ferry on to Milos, you board from the harbor in Parikia. From the hotel, you reach the harbor in about 20–25 minutes by taxi, and soon the next chapter awaits.
Milos – an island created by fire and sea
As the ferry glides towards Milos, you are greeted by an island that offers a more wild and dramatic beauty. Here, the volcanoes have shaped the landscape into something unique – a place where the power of nature still feels present.
In the harbor of Adamas, you disembark and roll your suitcase a few minutes to Michalis Studios, your home for the next two nights. Here you live close to the sea, close to the life in the harbor, and just a stone's throw from Milos' best adventures.
On Milos, you let the days be filled with discoveries. Hike down to Sarakiniko, where chalk-white cliffs sweep out like a moonscape against the deepest blue. Hop on a boat to Kleftiko and swim in caves where pirates once hid their treasures. Let the wind take you to small fishing villages like Klima, where colorful boathouses reflect in the water.
And when the evening comes? Then you walk up to Plaka, the island's small town on the hill, and let the dinner be long while the sky turns pink over the Aegean Sea.
When it's time to continue towards Santorini, the ferry leaves from the same harbor in Adamas. You are welcome to book the tickets in advance, and the ferry journey on to Santorini is as much a pleasure as transport – the sea sparkles, the wind is warm, and the next adventure awaits on the horizon.
Santorini – where dreams meet reality
Arriving in Santorini is like stepping into a movie. Here, every view is perfectly framed, every alley is created to be immortalized. From Athinios port, you easily get to your hotel, Smy Mediterranean White, located in Kamari, about 20–30 minutes away by taxi. Here, on the quieter side of the island, you live right by the beach but still close to everything.
Two nights in Santorini are two nights you will never forget. Wander between the villages of Fira and Oia, where the whitewashed houses climb along the caldera's edge and the view of the sea never ends. Stop by one of the island's vineyards and taste wines that have grown in the volcanic soil. Let the evenings slowly fade out on a terrace in Oia, where the sun sinks straight into the sea and the applause breaks the silence when the last ray disappears.
When it's time to say goodbye to Greece, the airport is just ten minutes from the hotel. You hardly need to think about the time – here the journey ends as smoothly as it began.
A journey to carry with you
This is not just a vacation. It's three unique worlds linked by the sea. From the calm charm of Paros to the dramatic landscape of Milos and the iconic silhouette of Santorini. A journey filled with scents, tastes, colors, and sounds that linger long after you have unpacked your suitcase at home.
To island hop in the Cyclades is to follow in the footsteps of history and the sea – and perhaps also to find a piece of yourself along the way.
