Helsinki and the Baltics

Finland's capital Helsinki is an exciting city with a different culture. Don't miss a visit to one of the city's saunas, for example Löyly.

Then continue on your own with the ferry to Tallinn. The ferry sails several times a day and takes about two hours. You arrive in the center of Estonia's capital, an old Hanseatic city. The city is divided into two parts, a lower and a higher, and it is easy to walk around.

Continue by bus to Riga, about 4.5 hours. Riga is the largest city in the Baltics and is filled with colorful buildings in the center. Just outside you will also find a fantastic viewpoint on the rooftop bar at the Radisson Blu Hotel.

End your journey by traveling to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. If you have time, stop at Siauliai Cross Hill to see this exotic place, where hundreds of thousands of crosses are gathered on a hill. If you travel directly, there is just over 4 hours between Riga and Vilnius. Vilnius is the only one of the four cities that is not located by the Baltic Sea, which also gives it a different atmosphere. If you like good food, don't miss the new Paupis market.
