With this travel proposal, you fly to Venice and stay here for one night - long enough for you to get a good picture of the city. Then you continue, preferably by train, to the Verona area where you stay at a hotel in the Valpolicella wine area for three nights.

Continue on to beautiful Tuscany and the Chianti region for three days and finish in the culinary city of Bologna. You can get to most places by train, but it may require that you also take a bus for some hotels in the different wine regions.
